What's up with all the hate right now?

Yes there's an election. But where are the adults in the room?

Policies come and go... But there's a percentage of the population that seems to actively run on hate, hating anyone different from themselves, running on a dialogue of insults and misinformation, and talking about freedom but trying to control everyone else.

And still, the 2024 Presidential election race is neck-and-neck.

Last time people fought over who won

Is anyone else concerned about it becoming a problem again?

My thinking is:
It's difficult to dispute a landslide.

What if each of us who is already planning to vote, could convince one friend to also vote?

There could be a landslide. History and THIS generation could make a statement. How do you get people to realize that their vote can make a difference?

How do you start a conversation without it being weird?

Nobody wants to be a weirdo or cause drama.
But it's natural to share your thoughts with your family and friends.
Of course with some people you're better off not even bringing it up.

If you have chill people in your circle and don't know their politics, you can ask "Are you gonna vote?" along with any of the factoids below.

Policies can be debated.
Hate isn't up for debate.

Can you believe the race is so close?

Last time there was a fight over who won. Are you concerned about it?

My vote counts. Those people make the laws. I want a hand in that.

The voters guide is lit. Everyone answers the same questions so you can compare who you agree with.

Imagine if each of us who is already planning to vote, could convince one friend to also vote.

"Vote Against Hate" Conversation Starter Cards

A conversation starter and reminder card, because it really is that important.

I made this myself. I made this little card that says "Vote Against Hate" with some things we should be more concerned about than what's in other people's pants.

These were originally supposed to be for me to hand out to my friends, because.... again.... it really is that important.

Hate is so close to winning. What's up with THAT?
